CM Yogi meets elderly saint on wheelchair, fulfills his wishes

Gorakhpur, 21 March (HS) : What makes Yogi Adityanath different from other leaders is his public connectivity and emotional support towards the needy. Being a leader who is known for his speedy action and hard-hitting decisions, Yogi Adityanth is also a very soft-hearted and kind person.

This image of the CM once again elevated when after seeing an elderly saint in a wheelchair, he immediately went to meet him.  Mahant Omkarnath, who could not walk because of his disability came in his wheelchair from Ramjanaki Temple, Kusumhi jungle to take the blessings of CM Yogi in Gorakhpur today.

CM, who is on a two-day visit to Gorakhpur, immediately went towards the old saint and talked to him for a long time. When Omkarnath told that he will be performing a Yagya at his temple, Yogi promised to provide every possible help from his side.

While holding a Janata Darbar in Gorakhpur, on Sunday, CM Yogi heard the complaints of more than 500 people and instructed DM, SSP, IG, and other officers not to delay in addressing the grievances of these complainants.

“The solution should also be in a quality manner so that the victim is satisfied,” said the Chief Minister on the occasion.

As the coronavirus cases rise in Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi also urged people to follow proper guidelines to prevent the transmission of deadly coronavirus.

He also directed officials to ensure that people wear masks when in the public and keep a distance of six feet.
