Mobil tanker loaded with liquor seized
Chapra,13 March(HS): The excise department today seized a mobil tanker loaded with foreign liquor worth lakhs from near Bansoi village along Malmaliya road under Masrak police station.
During vehicle checking, it was found that in spite of mobil, cartons of foreign liquor were kept. Liquor was loaded from Palwal in Haryana and the liquor-loaded vehicle was destined to Darbhanga.
On a tip off Excise department stopped it and found hundreds of cartons of foreign liquor. Excise superintendent Rajnish Kumar told that last night also huge cache of liquor was seized which was to the tune of 20 lakhs.
Rajnish Kumar told that keeping in view of the ensuing Panchayat elections and Holi festival,special vigilance is being kept on the smuggling of liquor from other states.
