Lucknow, 10 March (HS) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended his greetings to the people of the state on the festival of Maha Shivratri. He also said that the festival gives us an opportunity to recommit ourselves to the cause of public welfare. People all over are devoted to Mahadev, the lord of the lords, he further said and added that various Jyotirlinga’s in the country were a symbol of national unity.
The chief minister also informed that adequate arrangements had been made for the festival by the state government and adequate instructions have been issued to district officials that the festival passes off peacefully.
CM Yogi Adityanath has appealed to the people of the state to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols and social distancing norms while propitiating Lord Shiva and conducting various rituals.
