Bovine smuggling bid foiled, bovines rescued at Kathua
Jammu, March 3 (HS): Jammu and Kashmir police have rescued bovines in Kathua and seized vehicles. Police said a police team under the supervision of Insp. Surinder Singh during Naka checking noticed three suspicious vehicles and signaled them to stop for checking. Sensing danger, these vehicles stopped far behind and were left abandoned by the unknown drivers. On thorough checking of the vehicles,10 bovines in total were found loaded in them without any legal permission which were later on rescued. By taking this cognizance case FIRs viz. 31/2021, FIR No. 32/2021 and FIR No. 33/2021 U/S 188/IPC, 11/PCA Act has been registered in concerned Police Station and investigation has been started.
