Driver found dead under mysterious circumstances
RAMBAN, March 2 (HS):A driver was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his truck on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Tuesday morning.
The driver has been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Rehman Lone, resident of Dalgate district Srinagar. He was found unconscious in his truck near the Jawahar tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway this morning. He was immediately taken to SDH Banihal hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The cause of his death is being ascertained. Lone was on his way to Srinagar from Jammu.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPc have been initiated by Police Station Banihal and further investigation has been taken up.
