Election strategist Prashant Kishor appointed Principal Advisor to Capt Amarinder Singh

Chandigarh, March 1 ( H S ) :Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has appointed election strategist Prashant Kishore as Principal Advisor.

The Chief Minister has given information about this in a tweet. Prashant Kishore has been appointed in view of the upcoming Punjab Legislative Assembly elections to be held in February, 2022. In the year 2017 too, Prashant was roped in along with his team to help the Congress in the Punjab elections. Before 2017, Congress had been out of power for 10 consecutive years. The victory of the Congress in the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections in the year 2017 was then given to Prashant Kishore by many Congress leaders.

There are now many adverse reactions from the opposition on the appointment of Prashant Kishore.

Punjab CM on Monday tweeted,  “Happy to share that @PrashantKishor has joined me as my Principal Advisor. Look forward to working together for the betterment of the people of Punjab!”
