Chandigarh, February 27 (H S):In the budget session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly which will start from March 1, the tributes will be paid to the death from Corona and victims who were killed in the agitation against three farm laws. On the first day of the session, tributes will be paid to the departed souls.
Apart from others, Punjabi folk singer Sardul Sikander is also included in this list. The budget will now be presented on March 5 instead of 8. This has been changed after the Opposition demanded an appropriate time for debate on the budget. The budget session will begin with the Governor’s address.
‘CAG’ reports will be presented only on March 5. In this session lasting 10 March, 6 and 7 March will be a Saturday and Sunday holiday. The Opposition Aam Aadmi Party and the Akali Dal have already declared that the government will be asked for four years in the house and the Opposition will also focus on the promises made to the people.
The issues of Dalit students’ stipends, alcohol, transport, sand mafia issues will dominate the Session.
