Management Development Program by ICFAI University for JSLPS Managers inaugurated
Ranchi, 24 February 2021 (HS) Management Development Programme on ‘Enhancing Managerial Effectiveness’ for District Project Managers of Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) of State Rural Development Department by ICFAI University was inaugurated by Bishnu Charan Parida, Chief Operating Officer of JSLPS.
Welcoming the participants to the programme, Professor O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University said, “Managerial Effectiveness refers to accomplishing the expected results, which is critical for the District Project Managers, who face multiple challenges in satisfying the requirements of multiple stake holders. The program was designed by our University as per the requirements of JSLPS, which includes modules on Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Team Management, Digital skills, Time Management work-life balancing and Stress Management.”
Appreciating the contribution of JSLPS in inclusive socio-economic development of Jharkhand, by focusing on under privileged sections of the society, Prof Rao said ,” This program will help you to enhance your managerial performance further”. Inaugurating the programme, Bishnu Charan Parida said, “This programme will mark a new beginning in your personal and professional development and will help you to achieve results in your projects and at the same time balancing your work and life. It is an opportunity for you to unlearn unwanted things and relearn new things and apply them in your day-to-day life. A number of participants expressed their gratefulness to the management of JSLPS to arrange for the training program, which will help them to enhance their managerial skills and personality development.
Bhagabat Barik, Assistant Dean and Programme co-ordinator explained that the resource persons for the program are highly qualified persons with a lot of industry experience. “Digital technologies and Case methods will be used to make the program interesting and effective”, he added.
