Congress’s Health Camp to strengthen party in Jharkhand
Ranchi, 21 February 2021 (HS)State Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon, president of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC), Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam, Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh, representatives of Professional Congress and JPCC members launched the state level programme of Rajiv Gandhi Mega Health Programme on Sunday.
In course of the event held at Chiraundi Basti, a team of 16 doctors examined the health of about 700 people and also provided medicines to them. Denizens were given necessary medical facilities after check up. People were tested for diseases including eye, ear, nose, throat, bone and skin. Similar mega checkup programme will be organized in all 52 wards of state capital and 14 Lok Sabha constituencies across the state.
While inaugurating the programme, Oraon said that taking birth, growing up and death is a continuous process and Mahatma Buddha also said that the habit of walking in harmony with nature should be practiced for the person not to become ill. He said that by organizing such health camps, the common people will join the party organization and the Congress will get strengthened.
Alam said that this is a commendable effort from the point of view of humanity and such a campaign needs to be continued in the state interest. He said that the poor people living in remote areas of the state would get help by getting free facilities. Patralekh said that providing service to the needy person is a virtuous work and in whatever work they will be able to co-operate with them, they are ready to co-operate.
