Major Gen Anupinder Bevli takes over command of Red Eagle Div
PRAYAGRAJ, Feb 13 (HS): Major Gen Anupinder Bevli, VSM took over the command of Red Eagle Division from Major Gen Ravindra Singh, SM on Saturday. The occasion was marked by Wreath Laying by the General officer at Red Eagle War Memorial in Old Cantt, Prayagraj. The General, an alumnus of NDA Khadakvasla, is a third generation army officer and has excelled in all facets of his distinguished military career. Red Eagle Division, the oldest Division of the Indian Army, has the singular honour of participating in World War-II, India-China War of 1962, India-Pakistan Wars of 1965 & 1971, Operation Pawan in Sri Lanka and Operation Vijay in 1999, informed Shailendra Pandey, Wing Commander, Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Defence, Prayagraj.
