Cong urges Govt, Intel agencies to take suitable action to prevent terror attacks in future

New Delhi, June 13 (HS): The Congress on Thursday urged the ruling Narendra Modi government and intelligence agencies to take suitable action to prevent  terror attacks in future, a day after five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred in a  terrorist strike in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala took to twitter to express his solidarity with the  martyred soldiers.
He wrote, ‘Disturbing to learn that 5 brave CRPF jawans have been martyred & 4 jawans injured in a terror attack in Anantnag. My salutations to the valour of our Jawans.’
Surjewala also added the ruling Central government and Intelligence agencies need to take suitable action to curtail terrorists attacks in future.
It is to be noted that two motorcycle-borne terrorists belonging from the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed  fired at a CRPF patrol party on the Khanabal-Pahalgham road in  South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, killing five personnel from the paramilitary force and injuring four other soldiers on Wednesday.
