Jharkhand Guv regrets for not getting better education facilities

Ranchi, 27 January 2021 Newly constructed women’s college in Barhi’s Bhandara block was inaugurated today by Governor cum Chancellor Draupadi Murmu, bedi des, she also unveiled the Model Degree College in Ghaghra block of Gumla district.

She regretted why she was not born in the present time so that she could get an opportunity to study in such a college. The Finance Secretary and other officials were called and discussed several times over the matter so as to materialize it.
Murmu pointed the proportion of women in Jharkhand is higher than other states. There is no women university in the state. Earlier, Mahila Vishwa Vidyalaya was started in Jamshedpur but not in full fledged manner. The country which is ahead in women’s education is in progress. With the creation of this college, markets will open up, transport systems will develop, businesses will start.
Notably, this college has more than 40 classrooms and toilets. There is a need to change the syllabus so that children need to read job oriented subjects. Governor said that there are 11 women’s colleges in the state and a total of three women’s colleges are under Ranchi University.
