Telangana Governor says beginning of vaccination a proud moment for India
Telangana Hyderabad :January 16;(HS)Telangana Governor Dr.Tamilsai Soundarajan today said that the beginning of the vaccination is the proudest moment for the country.
The vaccination to the front line warriors is not just a mere vaccination , it is actually a thanks giving injection to them for their selfless services since the outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic she said.
The Governor along with her Husband and renowned Nephrologists Dr. P Soundarajan visited the NIMS Hospital here today and launched the vaccination program for the frontline warriors in the State.
Speaking on the occasion the Governor said that the launch of world’s largest vaccination program has signaled the end of the pandemic and the beginning of protection in the country. She said that last year was the year of the pandemic now this New Year will be the year of Protection she added.
The Governor thanked the Prime Minister for the motivation and support to the scientists to develop this vaccine to protect the people from COVID 19 She said Prime Minister Narendar Modi personally visited Bharat Biotech labs at the Genome valley in Hyderabad and motivated the scientists to come up with an effective vaccine to end the Covid 19 pandemic .
She said that due to the relentless efforts of the scientist in the country India could come up with its very own vaccine and Indians must be proud that they are not dependent on any other country for the vaccine.
She said that vaccine development has provide India self reliance as part of Prime Ministers AtmaNirbhar Bharat program
She called upon the people to salute the scientist for their efforts in development and making the vaccine available to the people of the country . She said that this was the greatest achievements by Indian scientists who have shown their capabilities and tht the country is proud of their innovation she added.
She said Hyderabad is emerging the pharmaceutical capital of the world and has supplied medicines to more than 150 countries. Many countries are now looking at India for the supply of Indian vaccine to protect their people . Soon India will be supplying Covid 19 vaccine to different countries as India has started vaccinating its frontline workers she added.
