New Delhi, January 12 (HS). Indian players injury concern is not ending on Australian tour, as after Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Hanuma Vihari have also dropped out of the Brisbane Test. Ravichandran Ashwin has a pain in his back too and he is also skeptical of playing in the last Test.
Bumrah has been ruled out of the fourth Test against Australia due to a stomach strain. Bumrah was seen holding his stomach repeatedly during the Sydney Test match. He even left the field once for medical purposes.
In such a situation, the team management is taking Bumrah’s injury seriously keeping in mind the upcoming home series against England.
Talking about Vihari, his hamstring injury is quite serious and he is not scheduled to play in the Test series against England next month. After the exclusion of so many players, it will be interesting to see which players get a chance in the final XI of the Indian team in the Brisbane Test against Australia from January 15 to 19.
