Dry Run of CORONA vaccination held in UP, CM Yogi inspects the drive in Lucknow

Lucknow, 05 January (HS) :  The Dry Run of CORONA vaccination was conducted in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the drive in Lucknow hospital.

The dry run or mock drill was carried out at six sites in every districts from 10 am to 4 pm. Out of six sites three were in urban and three in rural area.

CM Yogi visited the RMLIMS in Lucknow and inspected the dry run of the Covid-19 vaccination. Expressing satisfaction over the activities of the institution, the CM also directed officers concerned to conduct the dry run in the state in a well organised manner.

Later, while presiding over the regular unlock review meeting at Lok Bhawan, the CM said that the dry run of vaccination is being carried out in the state and the process is being carried out in three rural and three urban centres.

 The dry run will ensure that the vaccination is carried out smoothly in the state and in view of this, the state government has directed that the dry run is carried out with readiness. The vaccination should be carried out as per the order prescribed by the government of India.

 The CM on the occasion also instructed to maintain more vigilance in view of the new strain of the corona virus and keeping this in view, the work of contact tracing should be carried out effectively. The surveillance system should be kept active and the medical testing should be carried out with full capacity. Care should be taken at every level to break the chain of Covid-19 infection.

People should be regularly made aware about prevention from Covid-19 and public address system and various publicity medium should be used for this. The CM also instructed that Covid-19 help desks should be conducted in all government offices, business establishments and MSME units will full activeness.

Expressing satisfaction over the use of E–Sanjivani app by more than 3.50 lakh people in the state, the CM has instructed to provide the benefit of online consultation through this app to maximum people who require it. The CM also said that the E–Sanjivani app should be widely publicised.

Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary MSME and Information Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Sanjeev Mittal, Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary Medical Education Dr. Rajneesh Dube, Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Devesh Chaturvedi, Additional Chief Secretary Panchayatiraj and Rural Development Manoj Kumar Singh, Director Information Shishir and other officials.
