CM Yogi directs to ensure all preparations in view of new strain of corona virus

Lucknow, 31 December (HS) :  Directing to ensure all preparations in view of the new strain of corona virus, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that there should be extra alertness at all level.

The CM, who was presiding over an unlock review meeting at his official residence, also said that in order to break the corona infection chain, contact tracing and surveillance should be strengthened. He also instructed to conduct the testing work with full capacity.

The cold chain is very important for keeping the corona vaccine safe and for this, effective cold chain arrangements should be ensured in every district. All the necessary infrastructure for the safe storage of corona vaccine should be prepared on priority.

 The CM also said that the process of preparing vaccinators for corona vaccination should be conducted in a time bound manner and the safety and security of the vaccine should also be ensured.

People should be continuously made aware about protection from Covid-19 through public address systems and various publicity mediums should also be used. All the arrangements of the Covid-19 hospitals should also be maintained.
