New Delhi, 16 September (H.S.): The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 5 million. In the last 24 hours, 90,123 new cases of corona have been reported. With this, the number of corona patients has increased to 50,20,360.

Also, 1,290 people have died in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll from this epidemic has reached to 82,066 so far.

According to the Union Health Ministry, there are 9,95,933 active patients in the country. At the same time, as many as 39,42,361 patients have been recovered from Corona and the recovery rate of the country has increased to 78.52 percent.

Besides, the number of tests has also been increased in view of the increasing cases of corona. In the last 24 hours, as many as 11,16,842 samples were tested in the country. With this, 5,94,29,115 samples have been investigated so far in the country.
