Hopes for closed industries of Khadi Sangh to restart enlivened
Chapra/Gopalganj, June 12 (HS): Hope for re starting of closed industries of Sattu and Masala has enlivened after the constitution of new executive body of Gopalganj Khadi Gramodyog Sangh.
Newly elected president and secretary have vowed to bring back the lost glory of the Sangh and wipe out the stigma of corruption. Due to plaguing corruption six units of the Sangh in the district had shut down one by one and employees were rendered job less.
Units of Jalalpur, Bathua Bazar, Rajapur, Barkagaon, Kateya and Manjha were closed down during last ten years, Sattu industry and Masala industry were also closed down.
President Sudarshan Chaubey said that Khadi would be made first choice of the youth once again. Purity of Khadi will be maintained. New branches at important bazars will also be opened and Sattu and Masala industries would be re started ‘to provide pure things to consumers’.
Secreatary Anuj Kumar said that Khadi has been an ideology of Mahatma Gandhi. We will achieve complete home made things by promoting Khadi and industries attached with it. New executive committee would come up to the expectations of people.
