Lucknow, \u00a011 April\u00a0 (HS) :\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is rare that a state government\u00a0 received global accolades for its policies but the Yogi government\u00a0in Uttar Pradesh did for its efficacious management of Covid. Even more few and far between is the appreciation of the political adversaries for any government.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0This momentous occasion came on Sunday during an all-party meeting\u00a0 with the UP Governor Anandibai Patel on Covid when the main opposition\u00a0 parties praised the Yogi government\u00a0 profusely on handling of Covid. In the presence of CM Yogi,\u00a0 the opposition comprising Bahujan Samaj Party and Congress reposed faith in the abilities of the Chief Minister and enthused confidence that the second wave of Covid would be dealt with in the same manner as the first wave was repulsed.<\/p>\n

\u00a0BSP leader Lalji Verma, on behalf of party chief Mayawati, not only thanked the government\u00a0 for convening\u00a0 all party meet but also assured of all support on the government ‘s guidelines with regards to Covid protection. He told the meeting that Mayawati used to tweet in this regard and ask the partymen to follow the directives of the state government.\u00a0In fact, the BSP leader minced no words while complimenting the Yogi government\u00a0 for effective\u00a0 handling of Covid so far.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Similar views were shared by Suhail Ansari, the Congress representative\u00a0 in the meeting. Heaping praise on the Yogi government for Covid control in the first wave, he said ” We all expect the government\u00a0 and the officials\u00a0 to control the current wave with the same success as was done during the first phase. “<\/p>\n

Both ,the Congress and BSP offered all support from their side to the government\u00a0 in its fight against the Covid. Overall, the meeting concluded on a promising\u00a0 note with all the participants express faith in CM Yogi’s strategy to contain Covid.<\/p>\n
