Poonch, 3 February, (HS): Tazeem Akhter Independent Candidate wins the chairperson post of DDC Poonch by securing 08 votes out of 14. While Nazia Gani of Indian National Congress secured 06 Votes losing chairman post to Tazeem Akhter Whereas Mohd Ashfaq independent candidate from Mendhar won the vice chairperson post by securing 09 Votes while Wajid Bashir Khan secured 05 Votes.
District Election officer Poonch Rahul Yaday said today election for chairman and Vice Chairman were conducted peacefully he said later on after the election oath ceremony was conducted in which chairman and Vice Chairman were taken oath.
Tazeem Akhter chairman DDC poonch interacting said its not mine victory but victory of entire 14 Members she said we will work unitedly for the development of Poonch District .
