CM congratulates Bedabrata Bharali
Bharali, from Assam, won the gold medal in the 73 kg category with an outstanding performance
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himant Biswa Sarma congratulated Bedabrata Bharali who won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship in Fiji.
In a post made on social media on Thursday, the Chief Minister said, “Carrying a proud message for the people of Assam and India in terms of sports, Bedabrata Bharali of Assam has managed to win the gold medal in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship in Fiji. I congratulate the people of Assam for winning this medal in the 73 kg category with a brilliant performance. I also wish him all the best for the journey ahead.”
