Lucknow,  18 April  (HS) :        Amid the rising cases of coronavirus infection in Uttar Pradesh,  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a big relief to the people of the state, has decided to establish 10 oxygen plants for unabated supply of oxygen to the hospitals.

While holding a virtual Covid Review meeting with the senior officials, CM Yogi has instructed to set up 10 oxygen plants at different locations in the state. He has also directed the Health Minister and Additional Chief Secretary, Health, to identify the locations and start the process immediately.

Later, the Additional Chief Secretary said that these plants will be in place in a week. The state government has asked the concerned department to keep an eye over the oxygen supply and availability of Remdesivir injection in the state so that there is no dearth of oxygen and injections. A 24/7 control room has been made active for this purpose where the officials will review the availability of the stock on a daily basis.

CM Yogi is sparing no efforts to make sure that the people of his state did not feel any kind of discomfort in getting treatment. In order to ensure adequate availability of medical personnel, COVID beds, medicines, medical equipment, and oxygen in every district of the state, the CM has ordered strict monitoring of all these.

Sufficient Oxygen For Next 36 Hours

Ahead of the Sunday Lockdown, CM has given instructions to ensure the availability of oxygen for the next 36 hours in all hospitals of the state. He has also assured people that there is no shortage of any essential medicines in the state, including Remdesivir.

CM Yogi has instructed DG Medical Education to provide oxygen cylinders to the institutions where there are no ICU beds due to lack of oxygen.

New COVID Hospital At Awadh Shilpgram

To provide immediate treatments to the COVID patients, HAL in collaboration with State Government will be setting up a new COVID hospital equipped with all the facilities at Awadh Shilgram in Lucknow.
