With 10 Tests remaining in the current World Test Championship (WTC) cycle, several teams are still in contention for a spot in the final. South Africa leads the table with a percentage of 63.33 and has two home Tests against Pakistan remaining. To guarantee a final spot, South Africa needs to win one of those Tests. If they draw both, they would finish at 58.33%, leaving India or Australia with a chance to surpass them.

Sri Lanka, currently at 45.45%, faces a tough path. Even if they win their two remaining home Tests against Australia, they would only reach 53.85%. They need both India and Australia to underperform for a chance to qualify. India, at 57.29%, has three away Tests against Australia left. They need two wins and a draw to secure at least second place. If India loses 2-3, their chances drop, and they would need favorable results elsewhere to qualify.

Australia sits at 60.71% and has three home Tests against India and two away Tests in Sri Lanka. If they win two Tests against India, they will secure their place in the final, regardless of the Sri Lanka results. However, if they lose 2-3 to India, they must win both Tests in Sri Lanka to stay in contention. Pakistan, with just 33.33%, has slim chances, requiring several results to go in their favor.

New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, and West Indies are already out of contention. The race for the final spot remains tight, with outcomes dependent on how teams perform in the remaining Tests.
