Webinar on Covid-19 for RPF personnel held at NCR HQ

PRAYAGRAJ, April 23 (HS): A webinar session presided over by Ravindra Verma was held in view of second surge of COVID-19.

While addressing the RPF personnel from entire zone, Ravindra Verma, PCSC/NCR briefed regarding the safety of the members of force and their families and advised everyone to maintain the protocol issued by the government.  He advised everyone to wear mask and maintain social distancing at workplace. He also emphasized on vaccination of the team and said vaccination of remaining personnel should be completed on scheduled date.

While speaking on the occasion Verma said everyone should inculcate the habit of physical exercise, walking, yoga etc. It can be easily done for fitness in barracks and at homes by every member of force. PCSC also instructed that any personnel having any symptoms of Covid should isolate himself immediately to avoid further spread of covid 19 infection. He directed that such staff should be kept in isolation Center and proper care of health and hygiene should be maintained. He also instructed that every ASC/IPF should talk to the covid affected personnel to boost up the morale and said if any member of the force develops severe symptoms, concerned Senior Divisional Security Commissioners should consult the position with concerned doctor and get the staff admitted to respective railway hospital.

The RPF/NCR, headquarter has also initiated an awareness drive “No-Mask-No Entry” for controlling the affect of Covid-19 pandemic. During the drive, railway employees and RPF staff are being sensitized about the importance of Mask/Facecover in fight against Covid-19. Banners and Posters have been displayed at various places in NCR Headquarter premises and Masks are being duly checked at NCR headquarter gate before entry into the premises and no one is being permitted to enter without mask.
