Hyderabad, April 10, 2021….. Mask is the best weapon available to protect one self and also to stop spread of virus to others said Shri VC Sajjanar, Police Commissioner, Cyberabad Police.
Addressing a press conference at his office , Mr Sajjanar said, “your mask protects me and my mask protects you.” Together we will protect near and dear people in the society.
The cases are on the rise and they are rising faster, than the first wave. So it goes without saying that wearing mask and maintaining social distance is a very important precaution everyone without exception must follow.
Mask must be a compulsory accessory that must go along with you the way you carry a mobile phone, Mr. VC Sajjanar said.
The shoppers too must keep strict vigil on the visitors. The violators must not be allowed to enter their premises.
Mr Sajjanar also told the operators of public transport to ensure that passengers strictly adhere to the government protocols prescribed.
Under Disaster Management Act 2005, cases can be booked for not wearing mask. But, our intension is not to book or fine people but to bring a behavioural change. People must realise this, he said
Speaking further Mr Sajjanar added that people who are above 45 years must go and take vaccine. It is safe. Do not believe the misinformation in circulation in social media that they are not safe. That is not correct. At the same time those who are already vaccinated must continue to follow all safety measures as before and they cannot lower their guard.
He urged people, especially those cured from Corona to come forward and register for plasma donation on donateplasma.scsc.in.

Speaking on the occasion Mr SM Vijay Kumar, DCP-Traffic said, people in Japan especially when suffering with flue wear masks irrespective of Corona or not.
He urged people to be extra vigilant about themselves as well as others and help arrest spread of virus.
