Warner Bros. unveils 2025 Film lineup: Superman, Jurassic World, Michael Jackson biopic & more!
Warner Bros. Pictures is set to dominate the silver screen in 2025 with an exciting mix of blockbusters, thrillers, and dramas. The studio plans to release an extensive slate, including major franchises and original films, surpassing any other studio that year. The highly anticipated Superman, Jurassic World: Rebirth, and Michael Jackson biopic are just a few highlights.
Robert Pattinson stars in Mickey 17, directed by Bong Joon-Ho, set for release on March 7. A Minecraft Movie, featuring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, follows on April 4. From April 18, Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan’s Sinners promises a fresh take on fear. On May 16, fans can look forward to Final Destination: Bloodlines, the latest in the iconic franchise.
Formula 1 racing film F1, starring Brad Pitt, speeds into theaters on June 27, followed by Superman on July 11, with David Corenswet taking the lead role in this reimagined DC universe. The Conjuring universe concludes with The Conjuring: Last Rites on September 5, while The Bride starring Christian Bale releases on September 26. Mortal Kombat II hits theaters on October 24.
Warner Bros. also partners with Universal Pictures for additional releases like Anora, a romantic comedy, and Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy on February 14. Black Bag, an espionage thriller, arrives on March 14. The much-awaited live-action How to Train Your Dragon hits screens on June 13, and M3GAN 2.0 drops on June 27. Jurassic World: Rebirth, starring Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali, releases July 4.
The sequel to The Bad Guys arrives on August 1, followed by Nobody 2 on August 22. Downton Abbey 3 continues the beloved saga on September 12. Michael, a biopic on Michael Jackson starring Jaafar Jackson, Nia Long, and Miles Teller, releases October 2.
Fans can expect more excitement in the fall with Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie on October 17, and the second part of Wicked on November 21. Finally, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the sequel to 2023’s hit, releases December 5.
