Violence in Bengal, one killed, 5 injured during CAA-NRC demonstration..
Bengal, Jan 29 (HS): Violence has taken place in West Bengal during demonstrations against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Citizenship Register (NRC). Violence erupted after a clash between Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders and locals on Wednesday in the Jalangi area of Murshidabad.
A large number of police forces have reached the spot.TMC workers were protesting by blocking the road. This was opposed by the local people and clashes took place on both sides. The clash gradually took the form of violence. One person has died in this violence, while one is said to be missing. Apart from this, five are seriously injured
