Vice President Naidu remembers former Prez Neelam Sanjiva Reddy on his birth anniversary

New Delhi, 19 May (HS): Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu remembered the country’s sixth President Neelam Sanjiva Reddy on his 108th birth anniversary on Wednesday.

In a tweet, Naidu said, “I salute the pious memory of former President of the country Neelam Sanjiva Reddy on the birth anniversary. Your successful public life, democratic values and your deep commitment to constitutional norms , are exemplary for future generations. My humble tribute! “

Neelam Sanjiva Reddy was born on 19 May 1913 in a peasant family in Andhra Pradesh. He served as the sixth President of India from 25 July 1977 to 25 July 1982. Reddy’s image was as a poet, experienced politician and skilled administrator.
