Veer Shaheed Budhu Bhagat remembered
Ranchi, 17 February 2021:The birth anniversary of Veer Shaheed Budhu Bhagat was celebrated under the aegis of Tribal and Regional Languages Department of Gossner College today.
Principal Siddharth Kumar Ecka said that Veer Budhu Bhagat was a revolutionary leader, he raised his voice against the oppressive policy of the British and landlords, he worked to organize all of them, today we all need inspiration from them. Bursar Royal Dang said that Veer Shaheed Budhu Bhagat has been a source of inspiration for all of us.
Santali language department Head Anima Hansda said that the square intersection and the path should be named after the brave sons, from whom the coming generation can take inspiration. Hemant Toppo of Kurukh Department threw light on the biography of the brave martyr Budhu Bhagat. He said that the brave martyr was the pioneer of the Larka movement, who was born on February 17, 1792 AD in Silagai village of Chanho block in Ranchi district and the martyr was born on February 13, 1832.
