US: Tulsi Gabbard files case against Hillary Clinton, seeks $ 50 million in compensation
Washington , Jan 23 (HS): Indian-American leader Tulsi Gabbard has filed a defamation case against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Tulsi Gabbard has filed this case on being charged of being a Russian spy by Hillary. In lieu of defamation the suit, Tulsi Gabbard has sought compensation of US $ 50 million from Hillary Clinton.
Tulsi is an MP from the Democrats party and is contesting the primary election for the presidential election. During the election campaign in the past, Hillary Clinton alleged in a rally that Tulsi is a Russian lobbyist .
A defamation case filed in a New York court alleges that Hillary’s statement has damaged her reputation. Tulsi Gabbard claimed such frivolous charges hurt her presidential campaign very badly.
Hillary Clinton also belongs to the Democrats party and was the presidential candidate in the year 2016.
Hillary Clinton alleged in an interview that a candidate is being drafted by the Republican Party from within the Democrats itself, which will lead to discrimination in our party. Although, she did not name Tulsi Gabbard in the interview, but the US media considered this statement as an attack on her
