US scribe accuses former Pak Rehman Malik of rape
New Delhi, June 06, (HS): Former Home Minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik has been accused of rape by American journalist Cynthia Don Richie. Cynthia tweeted that this incident took place in Pakistan’s President House. She alleged that the country’s former PM Yusuf Razaa Gilani and some of the ministers of his party mentally harassed her after that.
She said that in 2011, she was called at the President House for a function. She thought it was related to visa issues but when she reached she was given a bouquet and later she was offered drinks laced with drugs. She said that during that time the PPP (Pakistan’s People Party) ruled the country and they would never listen or help her so she kept quiet.
She requested for investigation regarding the same in her statement adding that she had necessary proofs and could produce them when needed. She also added that the PPP kept threatening her so she couldn’t complain earlier but now it was time that this news came out and everyone knew.
