Urs of Choota Shah Concluded at sakhi Maidan Mendhar

Poonch, June 30, (HS): The Bi annual three Days Urs of Hazrat Baba choota Shah concluded here today at Sakhi Maidan  area of Mendhar Tehsil of Poonch District. Thousands of devotees from all walks of life irrespective of Caste creed and colour marked their presence in Urs during this 3 days event and paid their obeisance before the holy seat. The complete event was managed by the Dargah Management Committee headed by its Chairman.

The civil administration also played a vital role in the smooth and peaceful conduct of the holy Urs. Special prayers for the welfare and peace of the globe were offered at the concluding moments. Before this a special sessions of reciting Holy Quran and khatmat-e-muazzamat were held and  langar was distributed among the participants by Dargah Management.

Mufti Mohd Sadiq Khan Binjuian imam un Khatib of the Shrine Talking to media  said that the dargah management is going to widen its activities very soon under which the dargah complex would be extended for facilitation of pilgrims and educational activities for the downtrodden children will be provided for their better and brighter future. He said the credit of successful conclusion of this Urs goes to the members of the management and locals of the area who put their head and heart efforts for smooth conduct.He thanked District administration especially Auquaf for their support during urs.
