UP relaxes CORONA curfew in 55 districts from June 1
Lucknow, 30 May (HS) : The Yogi Government on Sunday decided to give some relaxation in CORONA curfew in 55 districts of Uttar Pradesh from June 1. The Government has issued a new guideline to this effect.
According to the new guidelines issued by the Chief Secretary RK Tiwari the economic activities will be allowed in 55 districts with less than 600 active cases of COVID-19. As per the arrangements the shops will be opened from 7 am to 7 pm. However the weekend curfew will remain continue on Saturday and Sunday.
The CORONA curfew will remain continue in 20 districts which have more than 600 active cases of COVID-19. These districts include Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Saharanpur, Ghaziabad, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Lakhimpur Khiri, Jaunpur, Sonbhadra, Baghpat, Moradabad, Ghazipur, Bijnor and Deoria.
As per the new guidelines the relaxation will automatically come into application from the day in 20 districts when there will be less than 600 corona active cases.
Under the arrangement of relaxation the government offices of the frontline departments will start operating with full strength and the other government offices will function with 50 percent strength.
Besides, the industrial work and essential services will continue to function as before. However, schools, colleges and other educational institutions, gyms and malls will not be allowed across the state.
