UP Govt constitutes Civil Defence Corps in nine more districts
Lucknow, 09 March (HS) :The Uttar Pradesh Government on Tuesday constituted Civil Defence Corps in nine more districts of the state. These districts include Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Banda, Basti, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Gonda and Mirzapur.
The Additional Chief Secretary of the Civil Defence Department Rajan Shukla while issuing the notification in this regard said here today the DMs of the respective districts have been appointed as the controller to command the said corps.
He said that the Civil Defence Corps are already existing in 15 districts. With the addition of nine more units all the divisional headquarters of the state will be covered.
