UP: Former IAS Kannan Gopinathan detained from Prayagraj Airport
Lucknow,18 January(HS): Former IAS officer Kannan Gopinathan, who resigned in protest against the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, has been detained once again.
On Saturday, he was detained at Prayagraj Airport in Uttar Pradesh. He was called to attend a meeting to be held against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC). People organizing the meeting against the CAA and NRC said that the district administration allowed Kannan Gopinathan to participate in the meeting.
