Lucknow, 02 January (HS) :     Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday announced in Gorakhpur that COVID-19 vaccine will be available in the state near Makar Sankranti festival which is scheduled to be celebrated on January 14.

CM Yogi is on a two day visit of Gorakhpur. On the first day of his visit while speaking at a function the Chief Minister said that the dry run of the vaccine will be held across UP on January 05 and the vaccine will be available near Makar Sankranti. He also saod that a dry run of the vaccine was held at some places on Saturday too.

Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party Supremo and former Chief Minister of UP Akhilesh Yadav said here on the day that he cant not trust the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) therefore he would not take the COVID-19 vaccine administered by the BJP government. However his statement was criticized by several leaders. Dy CM of UP Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Akhilesh Yadav can not think beyond the politics.
