UP board: 10th and 12th exam starts, the Twitter account, and helpline number are launched for help ..

New Delhi, Feb 18 (HS): High School and Intermediate examinations of Uttar Pradesh Board begin today. 7784 examination centers have been set up across the state for the examination. According to reports, roughly 56.1 lakh students will be appearing for the Class 10 and 12 UP Board examinations. Data available suggests that roughly 30 lakh students will be appearing for the Class 10 Elementary Hindi examination while 26 Lakh students will be appearing for the General Hindi examination today. Out of the 30 Lakh students appearing for the class 10 examination, 20,789 students are private candidates while 69,983 students from the 26 lakh class 12 examination students are private candidates.

CCTV cameras have also been installed at all examination centers. Today ie on the first day there will be the examination of high school and intermediate Hindi and preliminary Hindi. Examination centers will be monitored from the control room set up in Lucknow.

For the first time, the UP board has released two helpline numbers and a Twitter account. Answer sheets have been prepared in four colors to prevent copying. To solve any type of problem of the candidates immediately, the UP board has created a Twitter account with the handle @ upboardexam2020. Apart from this, the candidates can tell their problems by using the hashtag # upboardexam2020. Board officials will keep an eye on social media and will try to solve problems quickly. Apart from this, two helpline numbers 1800-180-5310 and 1800-180-5312 have also been issued.

Deputy chief minister and secondary education minister Dinesh Sharma said, “We decided to use two sets of colored answer sheets in high school and another two in intermediate examinations to prevent swapping of answer sheets during examination in sensitive districts.”

Sharma said from this year’s compartment system had been introduced for Class 12 (intermediate) examinees also. “At present, the Board has this provision only for high school examinees. But now this facility will be introduced for Class 12 examinees. More than 25 lakh class 12 examinees who will write the examination will benefit from the compartment system.

The UP board launched two toll-free helpline numbers: 1800-180-5310 and 1800-180-5312 for students to get replies of their queries and help them to overcome stress. The helpline numbers to remain active from 8 am to 8 pm.

This time, more stringent security arrangements have been made to prevent duplication in board examinations. This time a monitoring cell has been made, from where the examination centers and teachers and teachers will be directly monitored. All exam centers will be connected to the monitoring cell.

According to UP Board’s deputy secretary Shiv Lal, strict instructions had been issued by UP Board director Vinay Kumar Pandey for relieving only those teachers from examination duties who had a genuine medical reason. He informed that teachers if found to have a citied fake reason for getting relieved from the responsibility, action would be initiated under regulation 108 and 109 of Section 3 of UP Intermediate Act as the same amount to dereliction of duties.
