UP Basic Edu Minister launches ‘Vikalp’ portal

Lucknow, 07 January (HS) :    The Basic Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh Dr Satish Dwivedi on Thursday launches Open Education Resourse (OER) portal ‘Vikalp’ for the benefits of teachers, parents and students.

The minister on the occasion said that the Vikalp portal will ease the process of learning. Besides it will enrich the quality of knowledge dissemination, he said.

He said that the portal is developed with the help of HCL Foundation. It will cater the need of students up to class 8th, he added.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Director Basic Education Dr Sarvendra Vikram Singh, Alok Verma of HCL Foundation, Director State Institute of Education & Training Lalita Pradeep and others.
