United Kisan Morcha to organise Mahapanchayat at Laksar on Sept 22

New Delhi, 10 September (H.S): The United Kisan Morcha, which has been agitating for a long time against agricultural laws, has announced a Mahapanchayat in Laksar on 22 September. Farmers held a meeting in Laksar on Friday regarding the preparations for the Mahapanchayat. Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan union will also participate in the mahapanchayat.

The General Secretary, Bharatiya Kisan Union, Uttarakhand, Ravi Kumar said that under the leadership of Rakesh Tikait, the United Kisan Morcha is mobilizing farmers against the BJP by conducting mahapanchayat in UP and Uttarakhand. He said that on September 22, a large number of farmers of the state would gather in Laksar. District President of Bharatiya Kisan union Vijay Kumar Shastri said that the Mahapanchayat of Laksar will be historic.
