Uddhav Thackeray resigns as editor of Saamana

Mumbai, Nov 28 (HS): Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of editor of Saamana before taking oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Saamana is the mouthpiece of Shiv Sena, in which Uddhav Thackeray as an editor has been writing his article. Now Uddhav’s name will not be printed as an editor on Saamana’s front page. Currently, Sanjay Raut is the executive editor.

Saamana is published in two languages ​​Marathi and Hindi. Bala Saheb Thackeray started the Maratha language on 23 January 1988. For a few years, on 23 February 1993, a Hindi newspaper named noon Ka Saamna has been started.

Bala Saheb has been writing articles in Saamana till his death i.e. 17 November 2012. After that Uddhav Thackeray also took command of the confrontation with Shiv Sena. After Uddhav’s resignation, now his name will not go in the credit line of Saamana.

In his last the editorial in the editorial of Uddhav Thackeray, Saamana wrote on Thursday that a new sunrise has occurred in Maharashtra. The announcement of a united Maharashtra including Mumbai had raised waves of joy in the mind of Maharashtra.

In the editorial, Saamana further wrote that on August 15, 1947, on the occasion of Independence Day, a magnificent ceremony was celebrated in the whole of India including Maharashtra, the same pleasure and enthusiasm is not only visible in Maharashtra but in the whole country. The formation of Maharashtra was announced on Shivneri and every Marathi people was filled with enthusiasm, joy and hope.

Saamana writes that even today there is no separate picture. Chief Minister of Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray is also sitting in this position, this is the fate of Maharashtra. This ceremony will make Marathi people feel blessed. Those who recognize Uddhav Thackeray have a belief in their minds that when they accept any responsibility, they play it with full devotion.
