Two pilots killed in an accident in a train in MP’s Sagar.
Bhopal, Jan 04 (HS): A trainer aircraft of a private aviation academy crashed in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday night, killing two persons who were on board, the district police said.
District Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Sanghi said that while the plane of ‘Chimes Academy’ was trying to land at Dhana Airport, it crashed in the nearby fields. Sanghi said that instructor Ashok Makwana (58) and trainee Piyush Singh (28) have died in this accident.
Sanghi feared that the plane crash could have happened due to bad weather. Local administrator of Sharma Academy, Rahul Sharma has confirmed the plane crash. According to academy sources, the aircraft was the Cessna 172, which had a glass cockpit and was also equipped with flying facilities at night.
