Two more corona virus cases confirmed in Ladakh, number of infected patients reaches ten
Ladakh, Mar 20 (HS): Like the entire country, the cases of coronavirus are increasing in Ladakh too. On Friday, two more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, the number of corona virus-infected patients in Ladakh reaching ten. Treatment of these two continues in the isolation ward of Leh Hospital.
On the other hand, Ladakh Commissioner Rigzin Samphel confirmed this and said that two more persons have been found positive in Leh in coronavirus test. He said that one of the ten suspects suffering from Coronavirus infection is an army officer. According to sources, on Friday, the suspects in the Coronavirus did not travel to any foreign country but they came in contact with people who were infected with the virus.
The administration in the Union Territory of Ladakh has taken several precautionary measures to prevent the rising outbreak of Coronavirus. All educational institutions, Anganwadi centers, and cinema halls are already closed in Ladakh.
All government and private offices are closed except the secretariat in Leh. Meanwhile, many villages of Kargil and Leh have been sealed and external movement has been banned. Apart from this, many types of restrictions have also been implemented.
