Two LA Lakers players tested positive in Corona tests
Los Angeles, March 20 (HS): Two Los Angeles Lakers players have been found to be suffering from Coronavirus. The Lakers reported Thursday that two of its players had positive Coronavirus tests.
The Lakers said in a statement that coronavirus investigations of the two Lakers players had come positive. Both players are currently kept in solitude and are being looked after by team physicians.
The statement further stated, “To keep all players and members of the Lakers staff in solitude, following medical guidelines, closely monitoring their health, consulting with their personal physicians and maintaining a constant dialogue with the team Having said.
The club said that the health and well-being of our players, our organization, our fans and all those potentially affected by this condition are paramount. As always, we appreciate the support of our fans, family and friends, and wish all those affected by this virus a speedy recovery.
According to the World Health Organization, the coronavirus has reached 168 countries of the world. So far, 209,839 people have been infected worldwide and 8,778 people have died.
There are six countries where the highest number of infections have been reported, including China, Italy, Iran, Spain, Korea and Germany. There have been four deaths due to coronavirus in India so far. The first deaths occurred in Karnataka, the second in Delhi, the third in Maharashtra and the fourth in Punjab. Maharashtra has the highest number of infections in India, Kerala second and Uttar Pradesh third.
