TTEs, TCs to check tickets in MP with magnifying glass
Bhopal, May 31 (HS): Railway Checking staff has started preparations at Bhopal and Habibganj railway stations for the operation of special trains starting from June 1. The staff under the commercial department has decided that they will check the tickets of the passengers through the magnifying glass without touching them.
Not only this, while checking the Arogya Setu app on the passengers’ mobile, they will not touch it. Railway checking staff is currently exempted from wearing a coat and tie. TTEs and TCs will be allowed to wear shirt-pant.
Senior TTE Yashwant Singh, who is associated with the rail union, says that if a passenger does not have the Arogya Setu app in mobile, then they will be asked to download first. If the system is not available, the passenger will be taken after filling the self declaration form, which will contain information about his health. Only then will he be allowed to travel in the train concerned.
