US President Donald Trump envisions transforming the war-torn Gaza Strip into the world’s largest real estate center. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One during a visit to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Trump revealed plans for Gaza’s redevelopment. He stated, “We are going to bring stability to the Middle East soon.”

Trump emphasized that allowing Palestinians or Gaza’s residents to return would be a mistake. He added that the goal was to prevent Hamas from regaining control of the area. “We think of it as a big real estate site,” he said. Trump hinted that the United States would take charge, with gradual development plans for the region.

He clarified that there was no rush, but promised significant progress over time.

According to the United Nations, the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel has displaced 90% of Gaza’s population. Trump introduced his redevelopment idea during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump later referred to his vision for the region as a new “Riviera,” drawing support from Netanyahu, who praised Trump’s innovative approach. Netanyahu called their discussion on security matters successful, aligning with Trump’s views on Israel’s security needs.
