TMC pays 5 lakhs to the families of Mangaluru police firing victims
Mangaluru,28 December(HS): A Trinamool Congress(TMC) party delegation from West Bengal today handed over a cheque of Rs Five lakhs each to the family members of two victims who were killed in the police firing here recently during the violent protests against the Citizens Amendment Act(CAA).
The West Bengal ruling party delegation arrived here this morning from Kolkata and visited the houses of both the victims. They met the family members of Nouseen at Kudroli and Jaleel at Kandak here and gave them the cheques.
Dinesh Trivedi, former Union Minister, Nadimul Haque, party Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament were among those in the delegation who visited the houses of the two victims to pay monetary compensation.
