Three liter desi liquor, 25 liter lahan seized one arrested
UDHAMPUR, April 23 (HS):Udhampur Police seized illict liquor at Village Lehar, Ramnagar and one arrested.
Based on a specific information, a team of Police Station Ramnagar led by SHO Ramnagar Kulbir Singh under the supervision of Garu Ram SDPO Ramnagar conducted a raid in the house of Karnu son of Billo Ram of Lehar, Ramnagar and succeeded in recovery of three litres illicit desi liquor and around 25 litres Lahan from his possession and also apprehended accused person namely Karnu on spot.
The recovered liquor has been seized and Lahan destroyed on the spot.
In this regard, a case under relevant section of law stands registered at Police Station Ramnagar against the said persons and investigation is under progress.
