New Delhi, Oct 21(HS): The way to rebuild the Ravidas Temple has been cleared. On Monday, the Supreme Court accepted the proposal of the Central Government related to it. The central government has said to allocate twice as much land for rebuilding the temple as before. Attorney General KK Venugopal said that 400 sqm of land can be given for this. The best thing for the devotees of Sant Ravidas will be that the temple will be rebuilt at the place where the temple was earlier located.

During the hearing of the case, Attorney General KK Venugopal said that in the guise of the temple, people surrounded a large area in the forest area, which was about 2000 square meters and they used to park trucks. But the government can only give them 400 sqm for the temple. In the last hearing, the Attorney General had said to give only 200 square meters of land.
