Terrorist involved in killing of BJP workers held in Samba
Jammu, February 13: In a major success, Security forces have arrested a top terrorist affiliated with The Resistance Front (TRF) who was allegedly involved in the killing of three BJP workers in Kulgam, Kashmir. Reports said Zahoor Ahmad Rather allegedly involved in killing of a policeman in Furrah area of Kulgam. He is a member of Lashkar-e-Taiba or TRF (The Resistance Front). Zahoor Ahmad Rather alias Sahil is being brought to Kashmir for further investigation.
Zahoor was hiding in Samba and was arrested on specific information by Anantnag police. The police said the arrest of the top terrorist as a ‘major breakthrough’. Reports said Rather had undergone arms training in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in 2004 and infiltrated into India along with five foreign terrorists. However, he surrendered in 2006 but got recycled into militancy last year after joining the TRF.
