Telangana Cabinet Sub-Committe emergency meet on Carona Virus: Sunita Krishnan tested Negative

Telangana:Hyderabad: March 03(HS):Telangana Health Minister E Rajender said today that the government is likely to set up a separate hospital for the Carona virus and a medical team is likely to visit Kerala where a Carona Virus positive patient was discharged successfully after treatment. The committee warned of rumor-mongering with penal action and decided to educate the public at large. A 24×7 helpline will be set up to attend to patients of suspected Carona Virus.
A Cabinet sub-committee meeting was held in Hyderabad headed by Municipal and IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao also attended by Health Minister Etela Rajender and Panchayati Raj Minister Dayakar Rao. .Directorate of Medical and health and host of other dignitaries from state government participated in the meet.
The cabinet sub-committee has informed that Hyderabad already has a provision of 100 beds exclusively for Corona Virus at Gandhi Hospital, Sarojini Eye Hospital and Fever Hospital with separate lifts cater to patients of Carona Virus only.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the condition of the man who was declared positive yesterday was stable and he is being treated in an isolated ward at the state-run Gandhi hospital in the city.It is suspected that The 24-year-old man, a software engineer who works in Bengaluru, had worked with people from Hong Kong in Dubai last month where he is suspected to have contracted the virus.
Nine fresh cases of infected patients were admitted today and all belong to a family of  Bangalore techie patient declared positive yesterday.
Meanwhile  leading social activist Sunitha Krishnan, who was in isolation at a hospital here since Monday for suspected symptoms of coronavirus, has tested negative.
She tweeted on Tuesday that the results of her test has come negative. “The test results for coronavirus has just come in, it is negative, what a relief,” she wrote and thanked friends and well wishers for their prayers and wishes.
Sunitha, who heads anti-trafficking NGO Prajwala, had voluntarily approached government-run Gandhi Hospital on Monday after her return from Bangkok as she had a mild cough. She was admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital, the nodal center for dealing with suspected and positive cases of COVID-19.
Meanwhile panic gripped the residential area of Mahindra Hills where the Corono Virus Positive lived as municipal authorities started fumigation to prevent the spread of the virus in the area. Residents preferred to remain indoors ..Roughly 80 people are llikely to be kept for medical observation in the next fourteen days and these are those who came in contact with Bengaluru techie.
